Why Men Love Bitches

27 Jan

MNG was having sales one fine day, and we just so happened to walked pass by. And I just so happened to see this bag that I like, and it was just so happened to be on 30% off! I pointed out to Kelvin and he quickly squeeze into the crowd in a hope to grab this very last bag on sales. Ha! And he managed to do so. Then I was carefully inspecting the details of this bag and see if there’s any defects. And I noticed the right side of the bag is a bit out of shape.

Then Kelvin whispered in my ear: “Look! The bitch is asking her boyfriend to hold on to the same bag in 3 different colours!”

I looked to the direction he was indicating and found this girl with long lush hair and her boyfriend who is carrying the bag one after another and let her decide which one is better.

“She has got the colour that you want, let me go snatch that for you!” Kelvin said that to me.

Then I chuckled “Looks like every bitch has got a nice boyfreind!”

“No I am serious. I’ll make sure you have it!”

Well, probably Sherry Argov is right about it. Men love bitches, for they are sexier (and not trying to be sexy), smarter, funnier and most importantly bitches always know what they want and men respect that! It captures his interest and excites his imagination!

Back to the story, THIS is the very bag I have been carrying around during CNY festivities :)

Final Appointment

21 Jan

As a matter of facts, we all have an inescapable appointment with death. It just that we do not know the time yet.

Kelvin’s paternal 5th uncle passed away earlier this week. A loss of a dearly loved family member in this festive season where everyone is happily preparing for lunar new year is not easy for everyone in the family. Many times, we sit together and no one speaks a word. We do not know what to say. Silence becomes the best way to mourn.

I sat beside my father-in-law, who was sitting alone at a corner during the funeral. I wonder the depth of his sadness to have lost a brother whom he had worked together with for more than 30 years. There’s no conversation between us as we listened to the funeral band played the last song before the cremation.

Life is too short and many times it’s like a dream. Perhaps you have heard this a million times, this time make it real for you: cherish life and focus on why it is so special. Learn to look around and see who is still alive and say everything you have to say to the living now while you are alive, forgive quickly, love truly, find joy in small thing, love every moment and live in every moment…
