No one that we know of ever been to Tahiti. So I thought it would be helpful to share a little bit about this trip so that you know what to expect when you plan your trip here
Tahiti is a small island located at French Polynesia, in the southern Pacific Ocean. It takes about 5 hours to fly from Auckland. And they have the biggest immigration form I have ever seen!
And when you arrive at the Papeete Airport, you will hear people singing while playing ukulele, and when you walk closer to the gate, you can see this beautiful Tahitian lady dancing along with the music.
The currency used here is Franc and don’t be surprised by all the pricey stuffs, cos’ this Tahiti is close to nowhere. The ship everything in! They speak French as it is their official language and Tahitian are widely spoken too. The queue was so long as there were many planes arrived at the same time as us. It took us around 1 and a half for to step out of the airport. And the moment we stepped out, we were welcomed in the warmest Tahitian way, the Tiare flowers… And they smell sooooo good!
The weather is something just like Malaysia. Hot and humid. And because it is an island, you tends to get quick rain and then sunny again throughout the day.
And on this island, you will see the clearest sea ever.
Isn’t it amazing?? I mean, can you see fishes?
Tahitian admires nature. Most of the thing on this island are fresh and natural. Tahitian girls don’t wear a lot of make up. They smile and greet everyone they see. Life is so simple and nice here. I am deeply touched and moved by this simplistic beauty and spirit of kindness.
I wish I can share with you more. But it is kinda late now. In my next story, I’ll show you the most beautiful place on the earth.
