Ever seen a pregnant flapper girl? 
Last weekend Kelvin took me out for a movie that I have been waiting for:
The Great Gatsby
I was so happy and had been counting down since the start of the week and planning what to wear to the movie date. On the morning of the date, I was telling him how much I look forward to spend some romantic time with him. It may sound funny to many, but I still feel excited whenever Kelvin is taking me out for a date, just like how we first fell in love. I will dress up a little, spray on my favourite perfume and put on jewellery that was given by him. I guess it’s my way of showing appreciation to his love. Even though we have been married for almost 2 years and I am 37 weeks pregnant now, I still find it thrilling to look good for him.
This is probably the best I can do with my growing body.
I do believe that physical attraction is important to keep the relationship alive. Very often married couples become comfortable with each other and do not care about their physical appearance anymore. I always remind myself that Kelvin did not sign up for this. He deserves the very best of me.
Attitude is as important as the attire. I would smile and speak positively about him, telling him how much I appreciate him planning the date and all that he’s done to cheer me up during the pregnancy.
Although it’s just a movie date, but it really meant a lot to me…
