Do you ever have a feeling when you go somewhere you have never been to, that you wanna live right there? This was exactly how I felt when I was in San Francisco. It may be the weather, the people, the street, the coffee and the magnificent red bridge 🙂
We stayed in this fabulous hotel with a beautiful lake view! Residence Inn Marriot. I find it very comfortable and cosy. And I must say all hotels in States are having really fluffy bed and pillows! It’s so soft that I thought I am sleeping on the clouds 🙂 Pier 39, Fishermans Wharf. Look for —>Sea Lions!
California Sea Lions have been always present in San Francisco Bay. They started to haul out on docks of Pier 39 in September 1989. Before that they mostly used Seal Rock for that purpose. Ever since September 1989 the number of sea lions on Seal Rock has been steadily decreasing, while their number on Pier 39 has generally increased. Some people speculate that sea lions moved to docks because of the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake, but the earthquake occurred months after the first sea lions had arrived at Pier 39. It is likely that the sea lions feel safer inside the Bay. -Wikipedia.
I gazed at the sea lions and started to imagine, maybe they (just like me) found that they sooo belong to this place and started to invite their friends and family to come sunbathing from time to time since 1989 🙂 “Hello sea lions~! Greetings from Malaysia! Apa khabar!”
Me and Kelvin in front of Forbes Island floating restaurant!
It was so dreamy wasn’t it??
Our friends in San Francisco brought us to this nice lookout —> Twin peaks!
“Darling, let’s move here some day…”
San Francisco iconic hilly slope~
That night we were “chilling” at the lobby and I was surprised to find Starbucks coffee from the barrister! It was such a fulfilling trip where I saw beautiful houses and started to dream about living a fancy life in San Francisco. Dear readers, hopefully this post gives you a brief idea how San Francisco feels like and I wish all of you got to experience it once and indulge in this beautiful warm dynamic city! I think I started to sound like the Californian sea lion speaking English now… Kekeke… Till next time, XOXO Eryn.
