Here we are at the Paris landmark:
Moulin Rouge, for the world famous cabaret show!
This show “Féerie” consists of a troupe of 80 artists, including 60 Doriss Girls recruited world-wide; 1000 costumes of feathers, rhinestones and sequins, made in the most famous Parisian workshops; sumptuous sets in shimmering colours, uniquely designed by Italian artists; outstanding international acts, and the awaited return of the giant aquarium with 5 giant pythons; all this performed to original music recorded by 80 musicians and 60 chorus singers.
Mr. & Mrs. Ong had a ball at Bal du Moulin Rouge.

Honestly, I waited for a special occasion to wear this coat… and the wait was not in vain! I feel so pampered by a coat, almost as if I was wrapped in a sweet embrace. I literally love the fluffy white “faux” fur! It combines elegance and practicality while remaining simple and clean.
We were there on time for the 11pm show. And while we moved slowly into the show theater, I was totally enthralled by the soft and nostalgic look of a bygone era~
The small elegant hall can seat around 900 people comfortably. And each table has a small beautiful light in red. The atmosphere is of total euphoria, and it gives the feeling that higher social class mingle here, just like in the good old days. When we walked into the hall, I can hear champagne popping sound from every corner of the room. It was so “festive” and I instantly feel really happy as if we are celebrating with a massive crowd of people from all around he world. Our tickets are inclusive of a bottle of champagne 🙂 When we toast with the happy people at our table, it really feels like we travel back to 1889 again. The lights, the red curtains, the cozy theater with gold heart shaped barrier. It’s all wonderful~
I was a bit dressy tonight as I wear a huge piece of jewellery with emerald green stones and lots of pearls with a satin red dress and a big white fur coat.
We were being seated at the front roll, where I can see the dancers’ shoes clearly. It was a 1 hour and 45 minutes show, it’s a really beautiful experience to sip your champagne and watch graceful Parisian ladies performing a world class show. I can smell creamy Parisian fragrance in the air, and hear tingling sounds of the sparkling crystals touching each other when the nude dancers moving around on stage. (It was so close that at some point of the show, I was looking away cos’ I was too shy to look at the nude Doriss Girls!)
One of the scene that completely “wow” me is when the stage transformed into a giant aquarium. A near naked girl dived into the tank and swam with 5 live pythons!!! OMG!~
I wish I can tell you how awesome it is, but you have to see to believe!
If you want to spend a lovely evening in Paris, go see Moulin Rouge. The “Féerie” show revolves nightly into 2 shows, one at 7pm (Dinner Show) and the second at 11pm. For more information, you can visit the official website here: http://www.moulinrouge.fr/.
