Vintage Charm [Ruby X Lacey Slit Dress]

Hello Everyone!
asian girl vintage maroon lacey dress

Lately I am very much into exploring vintage style. For a very special date night like this, I decided to go for a more mature feminine look. At my age, I think I am getting better in portraying a sensual and confident woman.

I was wearing my favourite pair of ruby dangle earrings. It is not easy to pair this with any style, cos’ it screams elegant and might look too exaggerated if didn’t match the outfit well.

I think the whole look would be more “complete” if I paint my nails red. But, a working mum has zero time for nails. So, hope you don’t mind my “bare” fingernails 🙂

Many of my friends ask me, so what do you normally talk about during date night? Mmm… just normal things, I love to talk about the past, like how I used to be and how “we” used to be; then talk about the future, like my super cool new ideas or projects I wanna do, dreams… then we also talk about children, like education, parenting styles… and… ya… some gossips… hehe…

I do believe that we all live in different “time zones”, which is not governed by the clock on the wall, or the watch and calender. Everyone has a specifically unique way of interpreting time. Age is just a number.

In our own time zone,

we are forever young.

Thank you so much for reading. If you happened to notice, I blog more on fashion and styles recently. My selfie-style outfit posts like THIS and THIS were elegantly replaced by better pictures. I am very grateful that I am able to share more about fashion and style nowadays despite the limited time that I have. Special thanks to the man who took all these pictures, and to you, my readers.

Have a great day!

XOXO Eryn

[…] Today I have decided to put on a classic combo of red and pearls. It is the most basic combination to create a oriental look. However, it also associates with a risk of looking “old”. I remember as I was putting on my makeup, I quickly decide that I should curl my hair and pin them all up in a loose-but-neat-looking style. With this cheongsam collar, a side swept hairstyle might have make me look younger and more sensual. However, I have certain determination in me that day, I want to be a more mature, decent and classy woman. (See another attempt HERE) […]
