Happy Monday everyone!
I just got back from a vacation in Sydney and I can’t wait to share with you all the beautiful moments we spent there. It was 9a.m. in the morning when we arrived at the Sydney Opera House, I was holding a bunch of white and violet Hydrangea and was wearing this fluttery mullet dress. The moment I stepped out of the car, everything seems to move like a dream.
The sun, the breeze, the beautiful landmark, and the dreamy dress…
The mullet dress is definitely a head turner. The dress is beautifully structured to form combination of sweet and elegant. All details are well taken care of, the embellishment, the 3D folds, and layers… I would say this is a really delicate piece.
We had so much fun taking these pictures and we even took a video using iPhone’s slow-mo function (you can view it HERE). There weren’t a lot of tourist in the morning, and we definitely enjoyed the rare moments of peacefulness.
Watching seagulls and feel the wind…
One of the things I have learned in my thirties is, we are living in present. Many times, especially in my younger days, I used to live “forward”. I always plan and think what should I do when I reach my destination, what to prepare for the next big project, can’t hardly wait for tomorrow and will feel really frustrated if being told to wait or stucked in the traffic.
But I have come to realize that life is not like that. Living in the “fast forward” mode only makes one feel the urgency to rush your life through, leave little or no meanings to life.
Life if constituted of little moments. Moments of amazement, moments of happiness, moments that touches our hearts and gives us feelings. I believe that it is all these emotions that attached to the life moments, make us human.
So I am living in present now. The concept is very simple: Enjoy everything you do in the present, rejoice in whatever situation you are in. For in the present, you are free, you are not bored, you are creative and happy. For example, instead of rushing your way home, try to enjoy the scenery along the way. Instead of chasing all that dreams you have, slow down and look around. And it will make the whole dream chasing journey more fun and meaningful.
And most importantly, it makes you happier.
If you are like me, fascinated by this designer dress, you can shop it at MS Cottage.
Thank you very much for reading and wishing all of you a happy week ahead!
God bless you.
